120 years of textile culture, through five generations.
Founded in 1876 at Albino, Cotonificio Albini, under the management of the Albini family, is now one of the major European companies specialized in the production of shirting fabrics.
Four factories, a turnover of more than 120 million Euros, 850 employees.
Positioned in the medium-high and high end of the market, the Company exports 70% of the total turnover in more than 50 countries in the World.

The success of the Albini Group is undoubtedly connected to a constant creative and qualitative research. More than 10% of the employees are allocated to the creative process, with a facility exclusively devoted to the production of samples.
The objective of ensuring the control over the majority of the stages involved in the manufacture (with the exception of the spinning) was reached four years ago, with the acquisition of the Brebbia factory, today one of the most modern dying and finishing factories.
Quality has always been one of our most important objectives.
Our uncompromising standards for fabric production, the choice of the best yarns, the close control at every stage of production, and the refinement finish; these constitute the basis upon which our quality stands. Our efforts are always focused into the possibilities to offer to our customers fabrics which will have the most desired wearability combined with excellent durability.

Cotonificio Albini is present with two different lines: “Albini” and “Thomas Mason” Albini, characterized by a strong creativity and innovation, has among its most successful articles the FUTURA 70, as well as other articles developed with the mentioned yarn (Piquet 70, Mussola, ….).
Thomas Mason, a historical brand, is connected to the valuable English shirt making tradition.
Born in England in 1796, at the beginning of the industrial revolution, was re-launched by Cotonificio Albini with the acquisition, 10 years ago, of the archives and the commercial network of the Company.
Besides the seasonal collections, the Company produces a wide and articulated range of fabrics, of which it guarantees stock availability, the so called “ready collection”; moreover, exclusive products are developed for the most prestigious customers.
