Piobesi: Weaving and ennobling of the knitted fabric.

Every day, twenty thousand kilos of cotton, viscose, polyester, nylon, mixes and stretch fabrics pass through the dyeing machines of Piobesi. The workshop, the genuine heart of the dyehouse, formulates exceptionally accurate colour microrecipes which go on to be industrially reproduced by robotic metering and weighing systems. Special finishing operations are performed on both the raw and dyed fabrics to confer stability and handle.
The fabric is heat-set, raised, sheared and sanforized. The product is put through strict quality controls before, during and after the work cycle, to ensure - piece after piece - that the standards have been precisely met.
Every year Piobesi delivers fifteen million metres of dyed and finished fabric, ready to be cut and made up.
The Busto Arsizio factory specialises in the rotary printing of knitted and shuttle fabrics. Particular versatility during production allows the creation and use of reactive dyes, pigments, disperse dyes, acids and discharge equalization.
