During the last exhibition of PITTI FILATI, FRANZONI FUTURAŽ entered the tricot sector, that is added to those of the confirmed success such as: weaving, circular knitting and seamless.
Thanks to an activity of combined research, FILCOMPANY, the spinning mill based in PRATO, has developed eight new twisted yarns starting from the basic plain yarns of FUTURAŽ Generation in pure cotton and in man-made fibres. Customers showed a great interest in them.
The well-known characteristics of extreme regularity, absence of hairiness and soft touch, typical of FUTURAŽ, allowed the production of cablé and linear twisted yarns, with a precious aspect and with an extremely smooth touch, that compare with the most expensive mercerized cottons. The counts range covers the needs of the various knitting machine gauges. Each yarn develops own colour card including the most current fashion shades for the Spring-Summer 2004 season.
Thanks to this new proof of versatility of FRANZONI FUTURAŽ yarns, combined with the skilful know-how of FILCOMPANY, a new interesting market is approached, that is rich of potential development, in a segment that combines a look of a high level with a perfect relationship between quality and price.
