Munich 29 June 2003, Franzoni, a leading company which under its brand, Futura®, produces top-quality yarns distinguished by innovative performance features, and Coolmax® by DuPontSa, a high-tech fiber boasting outstanding attributes in terms of transpiration and heat regulation, will be the protagonists of an important synergy that will be presented in a special international preview at Ispo Summer 2003.
The Franzoni R&D team has developed a new generation of polyester yarns, the fruit of substantial investments in the field of research, capable to maximize the unsightly inconvenience of pilling, the result of protracted use of a garment over time, while imbuing fabric surfaces with a perennially new, impeccable look. Plus, it guarantees garments longer wear and a pleasant comfortable feel when worn.
 The new Futura® Maximizer technology by Franzoni has passed all the quality controls with flying colors. High resistance to pilling, excellent characteristics in terms of quick drying, absorbing moisture and dimensional stability are the outstanding features of this new fiber product that enable fabrics to hold their shape even after numerous washes.
DuPont, a leading developed of pioneering new fibers, a firm that is always on the lookout for new technological breakthroughs, could hardly remain unimpressed by this new development, and so an agreement has been reached between Franzoni and Coolmax® by DuPontSa, a fiber that has become famous in the area of active sportswear, recognized by shoppers as synonymous with top quality and high performance.
This agreement will be made official at ISPO Summer 2003, and presented on a preview basis at the DuPont Stand (Hall A5 Stand 113/512), by means of a collection garments specially created to show off the characteristics of this new product.
The actual presence of these two firms represents much more than a mere piece of fair news: as a matter of fact Franzoni is functioning in this context as a partner of DuPontSa Coolmax®, with the goal of establishing itself as a market leader for this type of product. The partnership involves very close collaboration between the two companies in terms of defining crucial marketing and product-communication strategies.
